I just noticed that we are getting rather close to our first 100,000 posts mark. I know its not really a meaningful sign of popularity, but just a happy little fact for moi personally. I remember when I just got involved back in 2003 there were a little over 1,500 posts. Been a long way, so I hope it continues. We just need to figure out a way to speed the process up a little. Anyone has any experience with steroids?

Wow. Congrats on approaching 100,000 posts. I search for revelant forums all the time and this forum certainly is worth visiting daily. Thanks.

You were already answered about it here.

You have to click on a "QUICK" button below any post in any thread.

100000 posts is quite a milestone. I wish I had a forum with so many posts.

Maybe we could have this step removed from the process? Would there be any downside to it?

I second that. My first quick reply took longer than normal, now it's just a slight inconvenience.

I have always wanted to start a forum, I almost did a few years back but as I was just about to purchase a VB license I thought "why would anyone want to join my forum?". A brand new forum has got to be soooo tough to get going.
