I know it sounds trite, but I couldn't live without my iPhone. It makes the BlackBerry look like dog poo.

I personally think iPhone is ahead of the game at the moment. They've been doing it for awhile and its got almost 150,000 apps. Even though like 50,000 are useless apps :p

The past HTC phones I have used I always had issues with :S

I'm still voting on the iPhone, I have had a lot of smart phone handsets over the years and this is the 1st I have had that actually works and does not make my blood boil using it. Keep up the good work apple!

Android, I've had an iphone before personally. and after switching into android its like move from windows to linux really.

much more possibilities, more open environment and yes much better user interface, smarter, and allowing you faster find what you need anytime.

my 2 cents

The iPhone was once known as “the phone” to have - that is until the Android made its debut. While the iPhone is still a popular phone to own, the Android has surpassed what the iPhone OS has to offer.

May I ask what the main benefits are with the Android over the iPhone? Personally I haven't had any problems with my iPhone.

Thanks.
Jack

I believe Android supports Flash. Android is also more customizable and supports multitasking (not true multitasking like WebOS allows, but still better than the iPhone).

In addition, there is a large variety of Android-based hardware you can pick to work with. There is no hardware choice with Apple, yet its also a lot more pricey.

The new OS, iOS 4.0 is coming out soon. Unfortunately I have an original iPhone and so am left out of the loop-I cannot get the new OS. Pooh.

Do I want to upgrade with a company that has just cut me out? I'm not sure.
