I think both devices are good. It's really a race of who has the better app store.

Both very good but in terms of what you can do- the android allows much more, thus why I'm voting Google Android!

An Android phone is the best for googling, MSN and socializing. Has a cool slide screen and like the blackberry, has an easy to use QWERTY keyboard.

An iphone is the best for helpful apps and fun, entertaining things.

Android is much more open source, apps store wise and hardware wise.

iPhone, better apps, but they are not "open" as Android, i.e. all apps are approved.

Android has phones with keyboard. iPhone does not.
Android is front different carriers. iPhone typically is not.

android market is quickly catching up to this game. It won't be long before android catches up to iPhone in number of apps ... maybe even cross it.

I am curios to learn more about true Android multitasking - can you run numerous applications at once? Is there a video anywhere that shows a demo of that?

There is not a single mobile OS on the market today except webOS that offers true un-intrusive multitasking.

I don't know that it is 'true' multitasking, but the Xperia mini does it. It can be a pain in the bum in truth because the memory fills up and you have to force close the apps.

Its nice-Apple were way behind there.

I do think Android is quickly catching up to the iPhone, not sure if it will "kill" it or not (doubt it, Apple does have quite a following).
With the dangerspl (rooted) you can upgrade to 2.1 (Cyanogen).

Android has the better attitude and since the pioneer days of Android are over, the future looks good.
