Watching sports/movies in high-def on such a screen is a real treat.

Congrats on the purchase!

I bought this very same TV recently.
For watching football mostly.

I love the TV and the picture is amazing. My only issue is with glare during the day.

I don't watch much TV during the day so not a big deal.

I'm jealous! I almost bought a nice HDTV from Wal-Mart the other day, was a nice deal (42" for about $300). I have a 72" HD projection TV in the living room but it's a few years old now and it's huge compared to the new TV's out now (very space friendly). The picture quality is still very good, though.

I have to say I am jealous, too. But unfortunately I cannot get myself a new home theater yet. We have a very sensitive neighbor in the apartment next door who complains every time we even speak after 11 pm, so we will definitely be unable to watch late night HDTV or movies, which sucks! So I am still with the old CRT television.

Nice , had a programmer who worked for me who went out and got a 103" HD LCD (a sign he was being paid too much I know ) ... had to reinforce his wall to hold the colossus.. Also with the size of the room it took up a sizable portion... all the better for the football

as for you Artashes, never fear a solution is here http://www.dolphinmusic.co.uk/produc...er-rs-110.html

That said you might want to get a 2.5mill splitter and a pair for the other half... otherwise you might have an argument or two .

Steve-Hostirian - I know right, I am so in love with it. What an awesome Vday gift.

Artashes - tech. we did get it on the day before Superbowl but we only caught a little of the game, we decided to watch a movie instead and peek in here/there for the game, I did watch the kickoff though.

Blue - we are not sports folk here, movies mostly and gaming. And
we plan to get a nice thick curtain for the LR, along with doing up the DR (next room over) and the door piece for the kitchen (such a pain).

HostLeet - sorry?

csn-uk - 103 would make me flip, I doubt we are getting that anytime soon.

I think I missed one in here too, oops, crazy day, but who has crappy neighbors, I would beat them. With the so-so system we have right now, when I kick it up to anytime over level 20, those across the street can hear what I am hearing, clear too. As long as its within limits (day light hours, holiday, weekend, etc.) I am good, but most times I am a nice neighbor, most times.

I have a 32" HDTV, and i LOVE it, i don't really watch anything on it much, but i do have my xbox 360 and ps3 hooked up to it. It's so good i can see actors skin paws.

Nice choice. Samsung make some good TV's and their prices are great. Just out of curiosity, what made you choose plasma over LCD?
