Wow, love that suit, suspenders, tie and hat, Conor.

I've had the same outfit for the past 3 or 4 years now and it always gets peoples attention. Vegas Magazine did up a spread a few years ago too as not only do you get this Irish guy in a suit, but you also get an Irish Dancer in the mix (13 years dancing in competitions etc). So there's some years when I'm just all over the place showing up to gigs etc.

This year was quite mellow with only a few places to hit up, but with the outfit, it's very common to hear "we took pictures with you last year!"

For the posting from Artashes regarding that kid on the trailer - hopefully they don't find it a fault of the parade and cancel things next year. It's a tragic event to be sure, but hopefully the right parties are held responsible and they don't punish the entire event.

For dance, I competed professionaly in Traditional Irish Dancing. It's not quite Lord of the Dance or Riverdance as they used their hands a lot, but when you see the lineup of dancers and they're stiff as a board from the hips UP, that's traditional dance.

Many of my friends were in the original cast of Riverdance. I had already moved to America or I'm sure I would have joined up with the troupe too for the experience.

Wow, that's great Conor. My Mom's side of the family is 100% Irish. No Irish dancers in our family though. Riverdance would have been the experience of a lifetime.
