Seems like I've been getting a lot of database errors on WHT lately - especially when doing a search for new posts. I'm not seeing this on any other forums, including here on HD.

One issue that I do have on HD is if I try to edit a post - it always requires me to login again before I can save my edit. Maybe it's just me.

This might happen if you're logged into "hostingdiscussion.com" or "www.hostingdiscussion.com" and then use the other one (with or without the "www") to edit your post.

Or, there might be something else going on.

Must be something else. I also have a problem when I first login, not being able to do a quick reply. It always asks me to login again. If I select ADVANCED, then reply, I don't have that problem. Strange, isn't it - but it's a consistent issue. I also haven't received any email updates on threads I subscribe to, since last September - profile looks correct - I simply resort to reading everything without alerts.

Well I'm not getting any errors from WHT

Haven't seen any errors the past couple of weeks myself.

Are you still getting errors on HD? I haven't seen any myself, but would definitely like to get to the bottom of it if you're seeing errors still.

I haven't seen any emails alerts to subscribed threads on HD since last September - but I continue to receive them from every other forum I'm on. And I continue to be disconnected and required to login again if I select quick reply. I've learned to just live with it. And yes, I selected Advanced to post this.

This is concerning. So what exactly did you do, and have you corrected your ways so you don't see yourself banned on other forums?
