So its that time of the year when you are looking back at the year that's passing: about what you managed to accomplish and what you'd like improved in the year that follows.

Is there anything particular that you'd like to work on (or concrete objectives you'd like to meet) next year?

I'd kick this off with my resolutions for 2011:

1. Work on my laziness and learn to stay productive.
2. I'd like to read at least 1 hour per day. There is plenty of literature that I either haven't read or need to re-read. At the end of the year, if I am able to clock in 300+ hours of reading time, I'd be happy with that start.
3. Figure some things about myself in my personal life. (Ain't talking about those ones).
4. Try to become more social and go out more often in the real world.
5. Learn French.

Work with my dogs more to train them
Learn more design, marketing and SEO techniques and refine those to monetize my sites.
Get back into fighting shape (I'll probably break something before I make it)
Spend more time helping my wife with her new career.

1) learn to log off the computer
2) get better at delegation
3) increase client/business of an SEO company I assisted in launching last year for a friend
4) vacation, relax, vacation

I've been so gung-ho for so many years that it's time to start slowing down before everything I enjoy becomes secondary in my life.

1. Having recently sold my old site (whreviews.com for those familiar with it), I have two options ahead of me: focus on my other sites, or go for something entirely new. Somehow, I'm leaning towards the second one.

2. Learn German.

3. Reserve more real leisure time. That might mean a program of getting out of the apartment, because the computer is otherwise too strong a magnet.

4. Start to work out. It's time to get fit, as a way to delay age starting to have irreversible effects. I'm still young, but I'm not getting younger.

I took two years of German in school (years ago), but remember very little. I did ok with the written words, but conversational German was difficult - seemed like everyone was talking at twice the speed of my comprehension. Good luck.

Yeah, I know the feeling already. Luckily, the computer doesn't mind repeating over and over again, until I get it.

Dan, are you going to go for one of those computer training courses, like Rosetta? Let me know which program you end up narrowing down to and why.

Just giving a go to the free Deutsche Welle German course actually, with no particular reason, other than it seemed to be not too arid. I hate it when I have to go through lots of grammar from the very beginning.

10+ years.

If you are wondering why I still do not speak French, refer to resolution #1.
