The weather in St. Louis this time of year is all over the place. Sunday, I was outside all day in a tee shirt. Yesterday we had over 2 inches of very wet snow and this Thursday, they're predicting temperatures in the 70's. Hopefully, the ground will dry out some before the weekend so I can do some more yard work.
When I lived in Hawaii, I had to go to the Big Island if I wanted to see any snow.

We are on about the same parallel as St Paul Minnesota so we're not too far North of you.
We are getting pretty much identical weather right now.
A range of 15 Celsius to -15 Celsius in a 24 hour period is not unheard of.
Now that I look at it, you guys are very close to the 40th parallel. Pretty much the same latitude as where the Japan earthquake occurred. They are probably getting very similar weather at this time of year as well.

I am liking the weather in Florida right about now... Mid 50's at night and mid 80's during the day with a slight breeze...

Down here in Yuma, AZ the weather is normally pretty nice. We have over 300 days of sunny weather a year, never snows (big change from Wisconsin) and doesn't rain much. Temps lately have been in the 70 - 90 range. I have to admit though, summers such as daytime highs are 110+ and over night is 80+ but with very low humidity.

I spent a few weeks in Yuma in a tent during missle testing way back when - in the middle of the summer. Yipes. Hot is hot, low humidity or not. LOL. I must say, St. Louis and Miami both seem very very hot when it's near 100 with high humidity. In Yuma, it gets so hot, your sweat dries before it has a chance to reach your shirt.

LOL Steve, that's so true. We have alot of retirees that come down here for the winter from the northern US and Canada cause the winters are really nice, then they leave for the summers. They come around Sept. and they are slowly starting to leave now but in those months the population triples!

Yesterday was pretty interesting ... had a tornado rip thru here and another thru South St. Louis. Now its raining for the next five days. The tornado that tore up the airport here passed a mile and a half from my house. We were all in the bathroom (including the dogs) taking shelter while it passed over. No damage here. but over 700 homes were damaged, with just 100 uninhabitable. The tornado in Bridgeton tore up a subdivision a short distance from our WestPort data center. No downtime there - and thankfully no serious injuries anywhere. It was so bizzarre because as I was watching the news, it said 7 minutes until it reaches Spanish Lake (my home) and they were right on.
