Just read this on some PDF I downloaded - how true it is.

Just thought I'd add this too - Again, I've seen way too many of these types of businesses that run for awhile, hoping for that pie-in-the-sky rush of new clients that never materializes and they lock their doors once they run out of money.

I remember years ago reading a poster that a friend had sent to me about how people fail to advertise correctly and many fail to advertise at all. Each time saying that they're going to make "X" more dollars before they put money into advertising etc. Then when they finally do decide to advertise, they put up an advert saying that they're going out of business.

This is especially true in the web world - although most just fizzle into the night - but few people put any dollars toward an advertising budget. Instead they think that because they have a website, people will find them.
