Just got my personal property tax statement yesterday, so that will put a dent in my Christmas shopping. You'd think I'd shop ahead, as this happens every year. Lots of great deals tonight and tomorrow. Let the Holiday Season begin.

What ive noticed that there is a great majority of deals throughout different stores, but most of the items are specifically tagged for discounts, and they only have a few in quantity of the item in stock.

Then again, the black Friday marketing scheme attracts shoppers into stores for these specifically tagged items (which usually get sold out 10 minutes into the store opening), therefore the average shopper would purchase more than they would on a regular shopping day due to it being "black friday"

Don't get me wrong, there is a large majority of good deals out there, but you would have to be one of the few shoppers camping outside of the store to get the deal.

Happy shopping!

No black friday shopping here in Canada. But watching the deals posted in the United States, I like the amazing deal Apple offers: $100 off 3000-dollar laptops! Woooow!

Futureshop has had some really good buys here.
Bought a washer/dryer set for $1300 tax/delivery/setup included. Normal price for this set would be about $1900.

Also picked up a Blackberry Playbook, regular $499 for $199.

Yeah, I was thinking about the Blackberry Playbook as well (although it is not a holiday-related discount, rather just a permanent one), but I have a new phone to buy soon (Nexus Prime), so I had to prioritize.
