I have to agree with Steve, this thread made me smile...

Don't know how I missed this thread!

- We're actually in the same boat as myself (Tanner) was suspend (years ago) on WHT because a friend of mine that's also named Tanner posted a review about my company..well they assumed the worst and it got to the point of them investigating over my facebook and finding out that he wasn't listed as one of my friends (Privacy settings I assume as he's there when I'm signed online).

It resulted in our domain being censored, and all our employee accounts becoming suspended (10 + accounts).

I'm very disappointed with their helpdesk/moderation methods and the way that they always assume the worst and almost have a fear of letting others into their lives. I do hope to see them realize that they're just "ticking" off their previous loyal members of the forum, and have no "sympathy" with any type of infraction given on the forum.

I will admit, I do miss not being permitted on WHT as they offer quite the advertising section which has hurt business but I know that HostingDiscussion will grow to that point with the continued support and how rapidly WHT suspends there members. We'll be huge in no time!

It has been our experience that WHT tends to ban/infract first then ask questions later and when you question it, they tend to turn a deaf ear to the issues.

They also have a documented history of being very heavy handed towards certain users for whatever reason's they choose.

We have not had much luck with attracting customers on WHT and the one's that do attempt to sign up for services, tend to be scams/spammers who don't pass fraud checks.

Personally, I like the format of these forums better, the topics are more in depth, and it doesn't seem to be filled with a bunch of needless bickering back and forth. It is my hopes to be able to be done with WHT and find a better avenue to connect with other industry professionals and attract high quality clients to our services.
