Well, its been two days sine my partner-host company moved me to a dedicated server at EV1 and I've been enjoying it so far.

I've never really had any experience with dedicated servers (barely half-managed), but now I use stuff like WHM to manage all accounts. So far it looks so easy to manage a server... no wonder there are so many kiddie-hosts out there!

All right, still need to move a few sites, so better get busy.

Best,

Heh Congrats! I'm hoping one day my site[s] will get so big that I will have to get a dedicated server of my own. Long way to go...

Well, you're on your way, which is important. Sooner or later you'll get there.

My sites are not THAT big in terms of consumption of resources, though. There are just a few of them and in order to be operating in better environment, a decision towards a dedicated server was made.

Best,

Actually, the same case is with me. My company is doing that for me. How nice is that!

I do plenty of server work like earlier this afternoon I set up a server with ftp mysql email and all that without a control panel. Heaven forbid us admins ever get so out of practice we can't relearn the old steps.
