What was your first paid job? Yes, post only about that first job that you made your first money with.

If I remember correctly, I made my first money as a ball-boy on a tennis tournament in Moscow. I think I was around 7-8 years old. Worked for a week, made 300 rubles, which at a time was the equivalent of taking the family of four out for about 6 McDonald's dinners.

Best,

I believe that my first job was mowing lawn. I had 2 different locations that I did this at. One was a really rich man that had this huge house. Now when I say huge I mean there were 2 front doors, one on each end of the house. It took me about 2 1/2 hours each time. That location made me about $20/week and I got to do that one with a riding lawnmower.

Now the second location was a quite bit smaller. I would say about 1/4 of the size and I made $15 each week on that one. This one was a bit more work as I had to use a push mower.

I have to say that i thought i was making so much money. Looking back now I just laugh at how i can spend $20 like nothin.

My first job was self employment.
The proverbial lemonade stand.

When I was 6 years old there was a lot of road construction going on near my house during the Summer. One of my sisters and I decided to take advantage and set up a lemonade stand. We made a killing.

At least it was a killing for a 6 year old and a 7 year old back many years ago. I think we made $350 profit for the Summer.

First time I remember being paid for something I did, was for changing the display settings of color TV, back in '92 I think. I don't remember the sum I earned.

My forst was the lawn mowing enterprise. I actually made flyers and put them up all over the place and stuffed them in mailboxes, etc.

After the interest, my Mom still owes me alot of money from loans she got that summer all those many years ago LOL

Just kidding... she doesn't owe any interest. I offered to clear her books for pennies on the dolllar and all I got was a lecture about changing diapers and all that... sheesh
