Hey,
I just tried the plesk 7 demo and its TOTALLY changed since the last time I saw plesk in action.

Last time it was very very simple and didnt have many options, seems like its changed a huge amount.

If anyone wants to see it you can do so here

Im impressed

I am impressed, not meaning moving to Plesk though! But nice improvement!

Not as many options, looks ok but not for me. I would go to Ensim before I went to Plesk.

Personally i think cpanel sucks. Feature wise is ok. But security wise ensim is a better choice. Ive done alot of testing with this plesk 7. Secured 5 plesk7 servers. Its ok. alot better then previous versions for sure.

Yah for ensim! cPanel is a n00b panel, IMHO. And I will never buy a cPanel Dedicated. Ever.

Why?
I love cpanel and I dont think its a "n00b" panel.
What do you know about cPanel from your own experience?

The new demo of plesk looks great, major improvement over previous versions but I would still not go for it over other control panels.
I would most likely go for cpanel, ensim and then maybe h-sphere before using plesk on a server.
I dont think there are enough users wanting plesk, a lot want cpanel because of its easy to use GUI as well as cpanel, I have only heard good things about h-sphere, like plesk, but have heard more about h-sphere and would rather give that a shot first.

I think plesk has to work more on its marketing because I dont hear about it much and dont see it advertised in many places, true, there are places is advertised a lot, but I think it should be spead out a bit more so more people get used to the name and they might find out more about it and tell others.

I have to say I have never had a request from anyone looking for a plesk account with I have had requests for other control panels I dont currently have

I think a lot of hosts get cPanel because they know there is a market for it.
I have been offering cpanel for a while now and the only reason I don't offer another control panel is I haven't researched the market and I need to get an account myself first for a good while to get able to offer support
