Has anyone used Lindows or Linspire for their server? If you have, did you install Apache and use it?

I downloaded a copy when they were free - maybe they still are, but haven't gotten around to installing it yet.

Anyone have any experiences good or bad?

Thanks,

John

Hello John,
Sorry, don't want to go off-topic, but what is Linspire?
I have heard of Lindows but not Linspire.

I didn't think Lindows was a stable OS

Hey John,
I have never seen anyone using Lindows/Linspire and I have never heard anyone requesting a server with it on either.
I don't there there are any benefits using it over Windows.

Leo,

Microsoft sued and made lindows change it's name to Linspire - same thing.

Regarding the benefits/stability of Linspire relative to Windows - I was under the impression that Linspire was basically a windows-like front end on a Linux system, so I'mn a little surprised at the stability question, I hadn't heard there were stability problems.
