Please, help!

I bought a hosting and uploaded my site to server.
It worked good for a week, then I can not find my site on
the Internet and connect to server via FTP on my own computer.

I got a message that page can not be displayed, from FTP that connection failed.

But the same time everything is working on different computers, I tryed it on my friends computers.

Does Somebody have any ideas what happend with my computer? I did not do anything with it.

Please, e-mail me : gregoriy@hotmail.com
www.stlru.com

Thanks, Greg.

You might want to try checking your internet connection settings.

Do you have Cable or Modem?

Be sure to set your DNS records right, that's probably what is wrong here...

Does your friend have the SAME ISP?

Oh man, where to start...

1) do you have a firewall?

2) what type of connection?

3) sounds stupid, but what operating system is on your computer?

You might get a little walkthrough if you answer these questions.

Hello,

Here may be some suggestions for you:

1) Are you experiencing this problem on all websites, or just the one that you purchased hosting on?

2) If it is working on others computers, try "refreshing", (ctrl-r) to make sure you are getting a fresh copy of the website, and not something that is loaded in your browser.

3) Might want to go ahead and clear out your history, (may help with #2)

4) Try using Netscape if you are currently in IE or visa-versa....

Hope some of these might help.

Eric

LOL !!

I don't think he's that stupid, beepbeep.

@Gregoriy: it's probably some DNS failure or indeed something with your firewall etc. You might want to double-check those.

Peace out.
