OK Here's the situation.

4-20-04
Computer starts locking up whenever I decided to play a game, don't matter which.

4-21-04 9:00 a.m.
low level format drive, reinstall 2000.

4-21-04 12:32 P.M.
Get done with all updates and patches.

4-22-04 1:00 am
Begin to play Pandora Tomorrow. Box locks up again

4-22-04 1:11 am
remove vid card and put in new and checked it in other pc.

4-22-04 1:27 am
pc locks up again remove each stick of ram and replacing it one at a time individually.

4-22-04 2:00 a.m.
PC locks up again so I then switch out MOBO and it still locks up. Changed hard drives, cdroms everything I can think of. And yet it still locks up whenever I play a game. This does not happen when just doing business stuff

2.0 intel
2x512 ddr
80 gig western dig
ati radeon 7000 and ati all in wonder pro
belkins 10/100
350 watt power supply

Any help is appreciated

Have you tried using a different version of directx?

I been using 9.0b since it came out. And hadnt locked up before

Try another video card maybe?

Reinstall all your hardware again, reformat hard-drive, resintall Windows, install Antivirus, update Windows critical updates, install latest video card drivers, try again.
