Hey all,

I was wondering if it is possible to implement/add smilies feature to Outlook Express somehow, but so that the other party gets an e-mail with smilies shown?

Best,

Artashes, how come you'd want to actually have smilies in your OutLook Express?

You could use a web-based program such as HiveMail (if you bought it) and used that web-based, or even signed up for Yahoo and used their web-based thing.

I use Outlook Express - its quick, I don't need to have Explorer open and it does not freeze.

I guess those are good enough reasons.

But like, aren't you ever worried about virus', etc. etc. and other stuff - you must also get loads of spam, no?

I download about 250-300 spam every day. half of them are viruses. But thanks to Norton AntiVirus - they all get stopped. Spam, however, sucks big time.

That's why I'm subscribing to Profitability.net' anti-spam anti-virus protection as for this exact minute.

I think that my lost fight to spam and viruses came from my unwise choices of putting my e-mail accounts on a popular site. I have aquired a script which is so damn easy that I started using on my two new sites - a few months donw the road - not one spam message so far. If anyone want it, click here (its simple java):

Yeah, I know what you mean. But thankfully since I double my business e-mail as my free e-mail, I get no spam what-so-ever!
It's amazing I know, but when I had paid mail at Lycos which cost $20 a year - my Junk Mail folder would get filled big time, same with at HotMail. Though ever since an incident where Lycos became a scam artist, I started to double my business e-mail as my personal one too and I never ever got spam!

I hope that works for you. I know of a lot of companies that claim to stop spam, and you purchase it and download it - but then they actually sell your e-mail to spam companies, meaning you start to get double the amount of spam!

Cool, that's really great for you.
Guess I'm just lucky that I've never got spam at my business e-mail account.
