And I thought I was stuck in deep water. Everytime XP crashes while AOL is running, I have to reinstall. AOL takes forvere to install! It gets cheesy, very cheesy after awhile.

Let me change my answer.....I just got one of those Wireless Link phone line things where the phone line runs over the power lines. I'm connecting to AOL at 14.4 now!

Aie, personally at home I have 56k. I use Tiscali France. They are pretty "fast". Currently connected at 50k which is nice.
Office, I had only 56k installed. Since I own my own company, and chose to build the company office in a real bad area... I was really forced to, if I wanted to own my own office building - since I own personally 14 acres of land in France, so of course decided to build a nice office on it.... and for miles only 56k is available. Just my bad luck I guess.
I've been contacting the local companies and so on, for quite a while, and some are planning in the future to put broadband in either my area or why I had my offices built, some both even. Although - one of which is AOL and I don't want to go with them. Another is Free Internet, but they're doing it at the end of 2004, which is another year. Some others said if I paid them the money to install it all, they would.... meaning not only would I have access but everyone in my area, which is only farms. So of course I'm not really willing to invest hundreds and thousands just to get ADSL, hehe.
