Hey thanks! And GREAT timing as my tank is at the quarter tank line, and gas is low, $2.39/gallon here.

Thanks Art for the awesome forums to be a member of in the first place! I'd buy beers all around but - *sigh* I'm only 20. So I guess...Dew all around?

Congratulations John!

We've had Dew around for a few years, but I never tried it. Guess what idea you gave me.

Naah.. I can wait a year.

Here is what we can do. Make the HD get-together, then call upon 100 members here and tell them to donate $5 toward your ticket so we can fly you here, assuming you are buying the beer for everyone.

Boy what a party would that be. Will make Vito real proud.

Hah! Not that easy, Sir John. How about the other 80 members who paid for your ticket?
If Vito hears something like this, know that he has a cousin who is in the mafia...

Ok, well I'll just donate $100 to get the ball rolling, and it can be divided by the 100 members equally so then everyone only has to pitch in $4! EVEN BETTER!

Gas has actually gone down where I am -- Mississauga, Ontario (within the Greater Toronto Area). Last time I filled up it was at about 80 cents per litre (Canadian cents, that is...).

Hi there JP, nice to see you around again.
The prices have dropped below $1/litre in Montreal as well. However, the winter is coming (oil and energy demanding season), so we might not have those prices for long.

Gas is around 1 euro here. We're supposed to become part of EU in Jan 2007, so many of the prices are slowly or rapidly "aligned" to the EU standards...

Upper New York the cheapest I've seen is $2.49/gal. Not too bad when compared to $3+ not too long ago.

Good job on this idea! How do you send the money? Paypal? $25 is not too bad, worth about a week's worth of gas for me.

OK, this time it was very difficult for me to choose who to award with Free Gas. Seems like everyone was doing their best, even Yupapa came alive! ayksolutions, Exon, peter phillips, our advisors and mods with fantastic posts (who unfortunately are not eligible) and sorry if I am forgetting anyone else - all have been posting well! At the end, we have to choose one and this past Friday we would like to note the contributions of Senad, who becomes the winner of our Free Gas! contest for Friday, November 4.

It seems like HD has got itself another fan. Senad has started multiple discussions, actively posted in many threads, as well as brought some interesting ideas for forum staff to consider. You can meet our winner at: http://www.hostingdiscussion.com/members/senad.html

Congratulations, Senad, an email with $25 Winning Prize has been sent to you.
