The IT Infrastructure provider has deployed the EMC Storage Area Network Platform in Atlanta, Miami and Silicon Valley. The EMC platform was developed to provide the best technology available, to optimize PEER 1's data backup solution, providing managed dedicated hosting customers with faster and more reliable backup and data recovery.

In addition to backup services, the EMC storage solution allows PEER 1 to offer highly available mass storage options to customers over 4Gbit Fiber Channel connections. This external storage will provide additional scaling options to PEER 1 customers that have traditionally been limited to local server storage.
