$10 Million for any mobile technology is a way too much, but I can understand that their goal is to attract the best talent and teams for the competition.
Google has been pretty much acquiring the best live skills since the day they started making money.
I guess this also goes by the same formula Salesforce is using for the own $1 Million competition: http://www.salesforce.com/campaigns/challenge/
