I am starting on how to start your own hosting company (http://startyourownhostingcompany.com). What kind of information would you like to see there?

Looks like a typical blog-like affiliate marketing page. As long as you are recommending hostgator with affiliate links your site just fluff and puffery at best.

I'd recommend changing your template or color schemes. its really hard on the eyes to read. <URL removed>

It's a pretty easy site to use. The URL is slightly long though, but that isn't too much of an issue.

Definitely posting tutorials on how to code templates basically would be quite good. Maybe some host recommendations might come in useful for some people too.

Setting up CloudFlare? Maybe if their sites likely to reach a lot of visitors or DDoS attacks CloudFlare would come in handy for them.
