I'm not sure how many people know this.. but you can create Macromedia Flash presentations for free using Open Office.
You just create a presentation in 'Presentation' (OO version of PowerPoint) and then do a Save As and pick Flash as the file type.
I have a short tutorial with screenshots if anyone's intrested here.
