I'm dropping Verizon for several reasons, none of which are their reception/coverage, but mainly because of their inability to work with customers.

I have an Audiovox Thera PDA Phone. It has infrared, and is a nice phone. I paid just over $100 to have it shipped. I bought a cradle and leather carrying case for about $75 more with shipping. I'm willing to part with this phone for $150 (Which covers my cost). That price includes shipping with insurance.

More details on this phone can be found here. I will include a burnt CD with ActiveSync and the PDF manual, and some neat software to go with. I didn't get that much when I receieved the phone.

There is one noticble scratch on the phone, and a cheap blue side cover was missing from the phone when I received it. Other than that everything on the phone works great, I have used it for about a week. During that time it has pretty much stayed on the cradle. I did have it syncing with the Exchange server, I was able to get/send E-mail and connect to Terminal Server with it. I have not tested the infrared, but I had downloaded a very nice program that would allow you to use the phone as a TV remote. Very handy when you're at Applebees and you want to change the channel/up the volume.

I also have two Audiovox 8900 Camera phones with chargers and belt clips that are fairly new, each cost me $110 in August of 04, but am willing to sell them for $60/piece (Includes shipping/insurance) as they've been discontinued (They're the model just below the flash/zoom).

I'm sad to have to ditch my Thera, as I won't be getting a PDA with my new Cingular service and was hoping to use the Thera to monitor home security once I get my cams in.

I would prefer that you ask questions on the forum here as someone else may have a similar question. I will upload pictures once I snag a digital camera from a buddy. Everything works, and is able to make/receive a call.

Edit: CD Contents
-ActiveSync Used to sync data on PPC with Exchange/Desktop
|-ActiveSync 3.8 (MSASYNC.EXE)
-Adobe Large install - need an SD card for this
|- Adobe Reader for PocketPC (AdbeRdr20_ppc_enu.exe)
-Manuals Both the Updating How To manual and User manual
|-Operating Manual (Thera_OM_4_23_02.pdf)
|-Update Manual (October 2002 Update.pdf)
-PocketMusic (MP3 player for Pocket PC)
|-PocketMusic (pocketmusicfree.exe)
-PocketQuake You'll need an additional SD card for this
|-PocketQuake (gamepocketquake2.exe)
|-Game Data
|-Maps and game data (pak0.pak.zip)
-Pocket TV Used for watching MPG movies
|-PocketTVSetup-1[1].0.11.exe
-Updates Updates for the Thera
|-October 2002 Update (EUU0210_ENG.CAB)

These are just the things I had downloaded in a couple days, and was planning on purchasing a 1GB SD card so I could watch movies and listen to music on my PDA. I did install the Pocket TV/Pocket Music and the Vito Remote software. I hadn't tested the remote software, but I can do that if anyone is interested. All the other software I installed/used worked very well and without any problems. As the Thera only comes with 32MB internal storage I'd recommend getting an SD card.

Is this is service discontinued phone, requiring the buyer only to activate service, or will the new buyer be taking over your service contract?

Buyer is required to activate their own service. They are not taking over my plan/monthly agreement with Verizon. That has been terminated.

I haven't put this phone on eBay yet. I got my 512MB SD card in the mail the other day. I'm going to sell this phone for $175+shipping (FedEx insured). I love this phone even though I don't have service on it. PocketQuake is AWESOME, and I use AvantGo to sync all the channels I'm interested in and then read up on stocks and news on the go.

I have since downloaded and tinkered with Shockwave for the PocketPC, and today I downloaded Printing from the PocketPC but haven't installed it yet. It is on my list to do Monday when I return to the office. The infrared works perfectly - I beam things to other PocketPC owners quite often around the office.

E-mail/PM/Post here if interested. I am going to have to auction this off now on eBay as I will be purchasing a new contract through Cingular soon.
