I might not understand. Maybe you can clarify.

If I have a client that pays $2.50/month, you will buy them from me for $5?

That is correct. And we'll give that client free days up into when he/she paid. Like he/she became your client on the 1st and you sold him/her to us on the 20th, we won't charge the client until the 1st!

What if the client doesn't pay for another year? Are you only buying monthly clients?

You wouldn't have any choice but to keep the client on their regular billing cycle. You can't buy clients and then just start charging them when and what you decide. If you do you can expect to lose most of them.

Also, the going rate for clients is 3 months minimum. You might want to up the offer.

Thats why I do that to keep them on the billing cycle like I said, we'll give free days to the clients up until its time to pay.

With all due respect, a client is worth more to me than $5. I don't think that twice their monthly payment is very fair, or worth it in the least. I agree with Blue - you should up the offer.

I would be happy to "up the offer" if there were not people willing to sell there clients for that much.

Anyway, what do you think is fair to you?

I don't know about others here - I am speaking only for myself on this one because I value each and every client. And for the record, I have no intention to sell - I'm just trying to promote fair buying and selling practices and share my opinion. Anyway, I would probably accept no less than $50-$60 per client (for a client that would be paying around $2-$5.

I was pointing mainly to people going out of the host biz.
