$1.34 = iPod Nano!

MacBook Donation

My plea

Let's face the facts, the Macbook Pro is a bit steep for the budget of a college student, let alone a freshman! I will be attending Michigan State University this fall as a freshman and will be majoring in Pre-Med. I have a lot of work and tough classes ahead of me, and with that comes a lot of money.

A MacBook Pro would be prefect for my Pre-Med studies, it offers everything I want and then some. If you would be so kind to donate $1.34 which comes out to be $1.00 after paypal fees I would appreciate it.

What do YOU get out of it?

For your generous donations, I am going to give every donor a text link on MacbookDonation.com to the site of your choice. To ONE lucky winner, I am going to give out a 2GB iPod Nano which holds 500 songs. Now you may be asking, "if he's asking for donations for his MacBook, how can he afford the Nano?" Well I will be using $179.00 of the donations to cover the Nano for one lucky donor. The rest of the donations go to the MacBook. Like what you're hearing? Click on the donation link below and be entered to win a FREE iPod Nano compliments of MacBookDonation.com

I am currently working two summer jobs just to help pay for my tuition!

Donations can be made at http://macbookdonation.com

Thanks

Hello Jako, I think the idea is really cool, and your plans are very admirable, but a question comes to mind: wouldn't you spend way more time managing thousands of those one-dollar links vs. to if you just get a job? Considering a not-so-good job, you have to process at least 10 links an hour to make it actually worth it.

The Nano is free...and I'm pretty sure you know that.

Correct me if I'm wrong, which I don't think I am, but isn't this you?

I'll be attending college this fall, close to a month from now and I'll need a laptop.

I have a lot of money saved up from work, graduation, etc. Any suggestions?

Please link me to the product page, if you have experience with the laptop, why you like it, etc.

If you already have "a lot of money saved up" why are you soliciting free money here?

When I realized I had to pay for most of my first year, 15K, my "lot of money" saved up changed.

You can believe what you'd like. I'm just giving out a free nano as part of the contest. I thought it would be a cool idea for the visitors.

I've decided to downgrade from the MacBook Pro, and just go for the lowest spec MacBook. Donations MacBook Donation at are now at $32.06. Donate today to win a free iPod Nano!

You seem to have enough money for a webdomain... Probably should have saved that money, then you'd have a bit more than 32.06 rich boy. I'm also attending college, pity me, donate some money to me.

You're post doesn't even make sense. But I wish you the best in college.
