Does google penalize you if you are using lets say some ad network where rotatable textlinks appear on your site, once you have placed their code?

I have found few people argue over Coop ads (Digitalpoint) and they have said that google penalized them by dropping them 3-4 pages in search results.

Don't know truth but is it so?

Does google penalize you?

I can say is DP knows a lot about ads. I'm sure if MANY people jave mentioned that, then the chances are high that it's true. I haven't tested or know myself at all. I'm starting to get back into adsense, because my traffic has picked up a bit now. I used adsense earlier and wasn't making anything really.

Does Google not have a right to? It's their search engine, and it's their company, we have really no say, unless you can get a large majority of googlers to petition. Google allows Yahoo it looks like, Yahoo ads advertise with them, how sad is that? I seen Yahoo sites with ads by Google o.O

Google doesn't like comptitors yet it talks to them, and stays in contact with them as it seems.

Yes, they would penalize you.

For instance placing Bidvertiser and adsense on the same pages. Since they both display their ads the same, you can get suspended from adsense.
