I think logo golf balls or pens would work better.

I played Golf for a while, the amount of Golf Balls I lost would serve me great advertising :p

I looked at several Merchandise Companys, I gave up in the end, they mean 'bulk' and they mean 5000+ I mean bulk as just a few hundred, I cna't afford to spend loads of money on Merchandise when it may not bring back the money it cost me in the first place.

Anyone else seen the "pen stolen from..." pen? That would go down great with people.

Also, bummper stickers may be a bit tacky and cheesy; it would just be untargetted traffic (depending on how you think about it)

This may be true but with something like this in the hosting business, it helps build a brand for your company. I personally like license plate holders better but anywhere that your putting your business in the public eye is a good thing

I like bumper stickers and usually pay attention to them (sometimes too closely!). If you are interested, you can make and sell your own designs at http://www.cafepress.com.

Adding my two cents, I put a sticker in my back window with my URL and a lower monthly hosting fee. When they sign up, I have an option to get that price but they have to know what kind of car it was on! It has increased my sales. I know when I see a URL, I tend to write it down to check it out later. To me, it's just another form of advertising, that perhaps my competitors are NOT using.

Great idea Susan. You took a very good way of advertising and added a twist by adding a unique call to action and giving the reader a more specific reason to go to your website.

My boss actually has the company name on his plates. Gets a lot of questions about it, but I personally think the decal on the back windshield would work better. Of course that depends on whether or not you are willing to deface your ride. I think some form of flyering is a better alternative.
