Email marketing is nice if is do it on proper way.but it is hard because every time u are between spam and normal line.

Yes absolutely, there is a fine line between the two. Therefore your E-mails must be really professional and must have good and useful content. Anything over the mark might create permanent damage to your reputation.

It is better to keep it optional, in the E-mail you must offer an option of unsubscribing.This can help you to retain your reputation.

I never tried it, i find it really tough to beat all those spam filters. The emails are treated as spammy anyways, so no use. But there are many who make real good business out of this.

I once hired a company to send out some emails for me and they claimed to have a double opt-in list, turned out that half the people reported spam and it cause a major issue. Make sure you know what you are dealing with if you choose to go that route.

Certainly. It is no fun at all (and very bad on your company) to be accused of spamming. It is a major issue and a very real offense. Some people take spam very lightly and they shouldn't. It is a very serious issue.

I think this method is bordering on spam! Some people may be put off by this.

I haven't try it myself. Because alot of the mlm companies that you sign up have a very strict policy. If you get caught your banned from their system specially if you have a matrix that is almost filled up. Why risk it. I would do it in the begining stages. Once it's half fill up I would stop doing it. As I half other ways to getting my leads. I always twice before doing something like this.

I think people are confusing the "spamming of emails" with legit marketing campaigns. We teamed up with a company that offers an ecommerce solution that we're now hosting and they sent out a mass email to their clients and prospects with our information (simliar to a press release). The results have been very favorable for both companies.

There are many forms of legitimate email marketing that I think when people hear email they imediately think of SPAM and that's not the case in how we utilize it.

Teaming up with chamber of commerce, buisness journals and other such organizations can give you positive results WITHOUT the spammyness to it.
