Could or did you ever seen a Hosting Company that offers designing and Provides Services in the Web Industry make a show or comsual on T.V.

Godaddy is the only ones I've ever seen on TV. Even if a provider has the budget for it, it's usually best spent online.

i have never seen such advertise on Television. I would like to see it though. TV is the best medium to reach to the clients and the Ads that TV can publish can influence a great amount of people

We've done this in years past with KETC Channel Nine in Saint Louis, but nothing recently.

Yeah, I saw that GoDaddy commercial on TV, very good! I remember seeing some billboard with some hosting company, but I can't remember the name.

Ads on local cable channel would be cost effective method to taste the response of audience.

TV would be amazing, as it's the most accessible media of all, but it all comes back to one thing of course....MONEY! TV advertising is not cheap and a lot of people who go into hosting have to start off with tight budgets and build up.

When the money is rolling in, invest in TV advertising and if you can get a prime slot, you can focus on your other services and have peace of mind that the advertising/marketing is looking after itself for a little while.

Stick to getting your brand name out to everybody on the Internet first in a legitimate way as it's cost effective. This will involve a lot of hard work of course, but at least your budget will cope and all it will cost is your time.

Everyone watches TV. The people these ads target are not web hosts they are people who need a web presence.

TV advertising is too expensive for most hosts but it is well within the budget of larger hosts.

I was driving out of Philadelphia the other day and saw a huge Hostgator billboard. Does this mean they shouldn't do this because the "target audience" is at home in front of a computer and not driving?

The billboard would also be out of range for the vast majority of hosts but it doesn't mean it's not effective for those who can afford it.

You cant take risk on this part, reaching maximum people is what we want. You cant guess where your potential customers come from, may be by watching TV ads

Thousands of companies, hosting and otherwise, advertise on TV.

Any advertising is a risk. As far as knowing your client base, you don't "guess" at that, you study it and make an informed decision.

There is no more risk to TV advertising than any other form of advertising.

I've seen 1and1 on several magazines and even on newspapers, but I don't recall seeing any other company aside from GoDaddy on TV as well. As for the risk, as others have said, there are risks with everything and if you can get a good price and have a good perception that the audience watching it might be interested, then I don't see why it's not worth a try if your budget can handle it.
