Don't ask why I had used that title for this topic... I guess maybe because it's eye catching and maybe people might read the topic and get an idea of what it is really going to take if they wish to power through this industry...? Who knows.

The following article has came from a mix of me and one of the biggest inspirations to me.

In this industry, you constantly need to do new things to get more customers. Eventually if you stop
working to get new customers, you will slowly see less and less sign ups every day. If your company
goes through a growth spurt, follow through with it. Don't lose interest the moment your company
starts to do well – it is very easy to do this. It's almost like as soon as the challenge is gone, you start to
lose interest. Always try new things and work every day to get new business.

I'm going to use HostGator for example. The thing this guy got right was that he spent every day over the
course of years growing his company. If he would have given up after the first couple years, his
company would not be the most well known host like it is today. It's not like the owner has
some secret weapon that no other hosts have. I guarantee you he started out just like you will – the only
difference is he worked very hard to keep his company at the top and going.

Best Regards,

Nothing good comes easy. Success is the culmination of daily activity and choices that add up over time.
5 posts a day = 150 posts a month = 1800 posts a year.

1800 posts = traffic

traffic = sales

and if you make those customers happy, they will tell others which = more sales

Absolutely agree. I'd put the number more at 15 posts per day across multiple forums, weekly email newsletter broadcasts, regular blog articles and commenting, weekly direct mail - and as many links as possible to social networks. Throw in some LiveChat and stir rigorously.

I couldn't agree more on this. Success doesn't happen overnight.

Yep. I've probably said this a million times. Hard work and consistency pay off. It's amazing how just a couple of missed days makes a huge difference. Frustrating as hell but true. I was on vacation for a week and saw our page ranks go down considerably.

This is so very true and thanks for the words of inspiration. Another thing about anyone who is successful in this industry, I am sure they will tell you they have failed more than once. However, the kept going in spite of failures.

That is very true, i know a few successful people. They have failed before but they just picked them self's up and tried again but twice as hard. One of them once told me that when they failed or something went wrong, it just made him more determined to reach his goals for his company.

With any type of business it takes time to build up a reputation. But with consistency and persistence success for your business is very much attainable.

Have to agree on the consistesy. There is some commercial on the radio right now that is saying something to the effect of doing 12 things 1000x is better than doing 12,000 different things. Ie narrow down your focus and go from there and do those things exceedingly well.
