Just wondering. Where do you hosting companies advertise. Ive been concidering going out and pushing some ads and what not.

FYI. Im speaking more "free" like here at HD and sites like askwebhosting.com. Im sure i wont be the only one who finds this useful!

I think he's talking about the MarketPlace. 50 points, however, are needed to advertise in the Special Offers forums. Perhaps this is why he put "free" in quotes.

I am not talking about banner advertising rather "free" advertising like here in the MarketPlace forums!

Go take a look at http://www.hostdirs.com - It is a directory of web hosting directories. Once you signup they have an area that lists all of the known (to them at least) free hosting directories. They also list paid advertisement opportunities in an auction style format.
