Not much of a security camera by definition, but I was considering buying Google Nest Cam. If I were to get it, it would be the first wireless camera I'd own.
Well, I was also considering getting Nest Thermostat, so it would be managed by the same app. As far as their cam, I like the ease of use and ability to watch "actions" - only those fragments with some action in them, based on camera's motion detection.
I assume it is a good camera, but I've never wondered about the length. Like most cameras, it is limited. If you are using it indoors, I don't see a problem seeing any activity you want to see.
