I've heard people talk about Cogent bandwidth and CogentCo, was just wondering.. is this the same company just people call it Cogent for short? They sound too much alike to be different but I just want to know for sure so I don't sound like a bigger idiot than I already do someday
Cogent and CogentCo = Same. There is no difference.

That is the official website to CogentCo/Cogent. The reason for CogentCo is it is short for Cogent Communications however simply saying Cogent will suffice.
They are very cheap as you can see from their pricing. I'm actually currently in talks with Aleron and Yipes to see what kind of deal I can get going with Aleron & Yipes mixed. Aiming for $3,000 to $5,000... (I really want 120mbps if the cabinets are 52u, although if they are 42u I only want 100mbps)
