Intresting Configs, sold fast! Celerons are ok, not very speedy but the price is right for a nice config and hefty bandwidth!

The prices have gone up with the opening of the new DC
I think SM might even start getting more customers now..
I was hoping for something better with the new servers

I think the prices have gone up but the config has changed of the servers.
The bandwidth has gone up for a lot of servers which could be part of the reason the prices have changed

I see they are doing private racks now, using PayPal for deposits. It's a step in the right direction for PayPal payments.

ev1 splits their bandwidth though. So what ever they offer split in half and that is your out going for the month.

They do the best posible way to know this for sure is if you have an account go to your bandwidth monitoring and look. When you do the calculations it will show you. I will find it in the tos / aup when I get home, setting in my communications class -.- it would be better if it was cisco I or II.

So, the bandwidth at SM is not splitted?

Chris,

Most companys today will split the bandwidth for what you get. The sad part about ev1 is that they do not give the new bandwidth to the customers that have been around a while. Not even for saying hey thanks. I'm moving to dinix, seeing their network has had some problems the last few days or so.
