Are there any discounts from the colocation services providers? I mean do they exist?

I don't think that you may get a colo deal for free, doesn't think to be clever of a host to spend his own money in vain,
but sometimes hosts offer freebies like
Quote:
Globaltap Advantage Colocation Special: Free 1U of space with 10mbps/month commitment for 6 months.

Better question would be what location do you want to colocate, USA, EU? Asia?

If you're asking if colo deals exist in general, they most certainly do - but it depends what you are looking for. Are you looking for a 1U solutiotn?

Please be more specific in regards to your price range and location needs. Good luck.

I have never seen , I guess this sort of things should be talked over with a particular colo service provider and if interested he could offer some discounts.1U can be offered for free if you plan to stay with them for more or less durable period of time.
I think the best idea here is to go for a colo service provider who owns the network, that's the case with Serverpoint.com and Hostdime.com.
