Frankly speaking I don't know which service to use from Glowhost.com. I need FFmpeg hosting. This company provides it on all their services - but I am not sure which way to go.

Some companies do allow FFmpeg on the shared accounts, but another question is size. Just maje sure that you will be happy on shared account, possibly you need something huge like VPS?

I think you should use shared hosting with multimedia features that are included in their plans. It's much cheaper, say mmhosting.com provides it.
Plus you may have a lot of free features from them.

I think you will make the right decision to sign up with Glowhost.com. Since VPS's have a lot better up time, are a lot faster, and give you a lot more freedom, since you can install any panel you want for example, I suggest you to buy VPS hosting solution. Good choice.

There are specilized plans at santrex.net. This company provides NSV Streaming. Slightly different technology but still efficient...

That shouldn't be shared web hosting then. That is allowed on the VPS servers only

Wanna add to the above-said that AptHost.com also provides ffmpeg support for their customers and their services don't cost much at all. And their support and backup system is provided in ways of satisfying the needs of their clients. And I think of using them right now. They seem more attractive for me.
