I got the following error when I try to unistall Plesk 8.6 on the server:

error 1713.Plesk 8.1 for Microsoft windows , cannot install one of its required product . contact your technical support groups .

Did any one have the same problems?

Latest Plesk is version 8.6.0.2 I believe. You should consider installing the latest when possible.

The matter is that I can't unistall the old version, the best solution will be to recreate the serevr and try to insall a new version

Latest plesk version is 9 which is nothing but mess, its better to write to support of plesk ( you will get canned messages mostly) sometimes if you have luck you will get solution

The issue got resolved long ago, I installed plesk_8.6.0 version and it started working pretty fine.May be the problem was that the package I was installing at that time was full of bugs or corrupted.I have downloaded a new package and it got installed and unistalled properly.

In all honesty Plesk isn't designed for Windows. Better to chose a bottom up solution like Dotnetpanel which was built specifically for Windows.
