I'm not sure about VPS but I was using Gate.com shared hosting plan previously. Their shared hosting sucks - no stats reporting, only one domain is allowed, no web scripts support, no any auto-installed scripts - it's totally nothing and you need to install everything yourself!

However, one good thing about Gate.com - their server is extremely reliable. Never encountered significant downtime in 2 years time.

I would be interested to know how and where you came up with this information 'yangtaocs'. Is this research you have done on your own or did you have service with all these companies?

I don't think yangtaocs will be answering this (The-Pixel) as it shows their account is disabled.

I've seen cheaper from more reputable hosts. For the most part you get what you pay for, but some providers operating on a large scale can offer ridiculously low priced plans and still make good money.

Economies of scale.

Inever heard of most of these hosts. I won't neccesarily go with a cheap host unless you are getting something simple.

I would not agree with your list of web hosts. I have found that KnownHost.Com offers very good,c heap VPS plans.

Cheap can mean not very good in many cases, same with some of these host you have listed 1and1 i have found have not been a very good host

In VPS if you are going for a cheap company it will surely backfire, in my experience i had seen many VPS companies who tried to offer cheap VPS gone out of business with the clients data and site. A decent VPS may be offered at $15 a month normally not less than that.

There is so many cheaper VPS offerings out there than the ones you have found, you need to look further afield than you are currently
