I think what he was saying is that he's been reselling services from another company and now wants to make a go of it himself. He may be continuing to resell the VPS services of the other company while he learns things.

As fora place to learn VPS stuff - I don't have a clue where to point you.

Just basic linux should be enough.
Most VPS Hosting service offer cPanel
so it should be easy to use.

old days it was hard to run a server now with control panels it is very easy. with control panels such as veportal and solusvm you can even re-install your os with just one click.

IMO, the following you need to understand before order vps.

1) what is vps and why you need it
2) which platform you are looking for, xen, openvz....blabla..
3) what is your final application
4) what are the specs for your vps
5) under command line?
6) .......

many more...

From your site, it seems you have your bases covered on VPS packages and info - beyond what I'm seeing on your site, what type of info are you looking for?
