Are you looking to move data centers?

you have full control over the vps bandwidth so it's no problem for the vpn et. As for datacenter, that depends your expected area.

The best way to control abuse, is to ban VPN's if your customers are misusing them. There are good VPN users and the bad VPN users. If you choose to market to customers who use VPN for business it can be a very profitable and happy market. If you market to the users trying to avoid being found, you will always have abuse.

VPNs don't always start trouble. I mean, I use 'em to restrict access to my private boxes. However, a sure fire way to know who's causing trouble or up to no good is to watch their bandwidth. Constant or steady spikes or high utilization usually hints torrents or other forms of file sharing.

Blocking spam is easy - just block port 25. A VPN user shouldn't need access to (unencrypted) smtp. Just make sure to make the fact that you are blocking smtp perfectly clearly stated in your ToS.

Hi Coder,

I would absolutely ban torrents, proxies and IRC. That will help.

Sure, you can use it with firewall blocking unwanted ports

Place it in your TOS/AUP that they must agree to when purchasing. If you catch them doing it, suspend them.
