I have da already installed on my server and ipaddress:2222 loads right well I can enter my admin and all ala deluxe -all working fine but I just cant get mydomain.com:2222 loading as well
what do I do?
I updated ns on my domain registrar long ago,added a record on da,
edited this files
etc/named.conf
etc/resolv.conf
etc/hosts
and nothing
is it that since da installation is fresh,I have to wait some time so my server wraps it up as mydomainname.com:2222?

Can you please provide your domain name. We can take a look to see why it's not working.

Thats right, unless the domain name is known, it'd be difficult to identify the probably cause of the problem. Incase you are reluctant to share the domain, you may want to contact your hosting provider to find a solution to this.

If it's fresh installation, there is a chance iptables blocking port 2222. Try to stop iptables, then restart DA service.

I have to agree. But I was also wondering, why are you using port 2222?

Port: 2222 is the default TCP port for the Direct Admin control panel.

Please visit http://help.directadmin.com/item.php?id=75 (Direct Admins Support) which will address the common issues of not being able to connect to port 2222.

Port 2222 is default port for DA. You can change, but if you are using billing software likes WHMCS, you will need to keep that port. There is no customize yet.

ye I solved it,it got solved with restoring backups anyway thanks folks
