Is this a true root?

Hello folks they just setup my server and I just logged in thru ssh and got
vpsvz13:root@mydomain.com ~>
why Im not getting?
root@mydomain.com ~>

is this a shared server?

The login prompt is controlled via the PS1 special variable. You can set it to whatever you want. It means nothing, maybe the provider has changed the default in their OS templates so it is easier for them to figure out where they are logged in (if it is a managed VPS and they need to login there to perform management) and to avoid errors.

ye it was ps1 and some other thing my host solved thank you,now my server appears on tool bar as well

Glad to see you got it resolved..

The only time I've ran into that issue was when it was built into the VPS OS Image..

I totally agree. Ask your host.
