Before reselling vps keep in mind any client abusing vps like email spamming etc can cause whole reseller account to suspend, I will go for dedicated server and manage vps provision myself.

depends on who you resell from. The company i resell from will only take action on the offending VPS

A big problem of reselling is that you completly rely on the response time of your reseller.
Your node is offline? Wait for your provider to get this fixed.
Ip has been nullrouted? Wait for your provider to get this fixed.
hardware needs an upgrade? Ask your provider if you can upgrade or if you need to switch to new hardware.

All this things can be real pain if you want to provide good customer experience.

even if you have your own servers you still have to have time to carry out these.
ie: the node goes offline you have to figure out why it went offline and then fix it.
IP gets nullrouted ( this is for a reason) and may not be a quick fix.
Hardware needs upgrading, you need to schedule a slot to carry this out after you have received new hardware, so still take time.

That is true but you a responsible on your own how fast this happens. No need to wait for slow technical staff or unwilling level 1 supporter.

but it will still take the sale to find out why a node went offline or why an IP was null routed as you still have the server in a DC which still can turn the node offline and null any IP.

also if you need new hardware no matter if you own the server or are a reseller you reply on how quick a supplier can deliver the hardware too you.

Instead of finding VPS reseller, you can purchase your own dedicated server and create VPSs on it.

Also, there are many server management companies available in the market who can manage your Node, VPSs, server security, monitoring etc things in case you're not aware of it.

I used to use http://www.iozoom.com/reseller-program.html. It worked for me as a VPS reseller and its also whitelabled so there isn't any trace back to them.

Better solution is to purchase a dedicated server and configure solusvm on it so that you can easily setup vps servers in it.
