Hello,

Which CP or other software is needed to provide streaming audio hosting service. Many people nowadays are interested in having online radios.

Some of them work through winamp with Shoutcast server and some of them through Microsoft Media Player.

Looking forward to hearing your informative replies.

This can be donr using your own computer, PeerCast, and Winamp. Low bandwidth usage, and low resource usage.

Icecast is great, especially on Windows server. On Linux server is a bit of a pain to get installed right though. It supports up to 200 accounts per server all from one config file instead of seperate server setup for each Shoutcast account.
It was fairly simple to configure on Windows server so if you have windows id take it over Shoutcast since the playlists are Windows Media Player and not Winamp only
