I was just asked by someone for a large Windows reseller account.

Although I am not interested in offering Windows hosting right now, do you think getting into Windows would be a good move?

More often than not, local people would be more interested in Windows than Linux simply because they know more about Windows.

This person was from Belfast but found my site online - I think.

Are there many companies offering Windows VPS?
I don't think there is any reason to get a full dedicated with Windows just so I can check it out although a VPS/VDS would do me fine

All down to what you can not only provide but support John, if your not into IIS then steer clear as it can be a really unforgiving bitch

Is it maybe they need FP extensions or ASP, both can be implimented easily on Linux boxes. So the question is there, also being farmiliar with windows is different from server admin on it.

Yeah I know, that's why I'm looking to get a VPS/VDS to learn about Windows hosting and not offer it now since I can't provide the support for it.

I'm not sure if they only need ASP, which I think could be very likely and I am still in contact with them, but I am just interested to know if people think Windows hosting would be a good option to have available
