I see a ton of fly by companies that start up all over and then I see many of them fall under for not taking care of their business proper. Are you registered to be a company, are you paying taxes, do you have employees other than yourself?

I've often wondered the same thing myself, as well as how many places that put LLC in their name truly are registered to be a LLC. I figure there are plenty of one man companies dodging taxes and proper paperwork.

I have seen some that are the real deal, then I have also seen ones that add the LLC only to show they seem to be a real one but never went through all the fun in order to get it. Just using the mark as something to gain faith with those would inquire about the company.

That's true. Many hosts add it, and truly aren't LLC'd or INC'd. I know in the UK, there's an online database for verification right? I'm Incorporated myself, but there's no online database, at least not that I've found for verification. I mean, I know I'm inc'd, but I'd love to prove that to customers.

Inve, I don't really know of one myself either and I just love to see when someone says they are they you read a ton of bad reviews by current/past clients. I think the only way (that I'm aware) in the states you can check is with the city or county but I'm not sure for our overseas folk.

I don't think being incorporated help's your business in anyway. As long as you have a SSL Certificate on your billing system, I don't see the problem with being insecure or not being able to handle data properly.

Security comes into this thread in such matter. Incorporated Status does not help just because its not worth the hassle. Have a problem, make sure you use personal message next time instead of bringing this up onto the threads.

You are saying that thousands of legally established and operating hosting companies have wasted their time and money seeking incorporation? So you prefer to be help personally liable if someone decides to sue you for some mistakes/accidents in your service?

No, it actually won't be. The purpose of a community is to have a discussion on various things we share with each other. If you make a statement but do not explain it, then other members like myself might have further questions. I don't know, perhaps I am the only one that does not understand your position, but I surely would appreciate if you can explain your point of view and answer my questions above.

PS: Oh, and here is another one for you. If you say incorporating your business is not worth the hassle, how can you be a "Chief Executive Officer" (says so in your signature) without being incorporated and without having a board of directors that you report to?

Correct i actually find a site claimming LLC itself
