Now I am not asking you to post actual revenue numbers in the thread. I do not care to know what everyone makes here. I have attached a poll to this thread and feel free to comment on anything below. I'm curious to know what the average hosting company does in yearly revenue.

From being an event organize and a past hoster myself, I have some ideas. I'm trying to get a feel for how many small, medium, and large hosts are around here.

I see 1 person clicked the $50,000.00 - $99,999.99 range...nice! lol I myself am still small time but am moving up pretty quick. I hope by next summer to make $10,000.00 - $19,999.99 | $20,000.00 - $49,999.99 ranges.

It was me. I looked over accounting data and I actually was one lower than I should have been. Shoot for high goals bud. You have reoccuring revenue on your side. Make it work for you. You should easily be able to do $100 k per year by next year.

wow....Steve you must be an amazing sales person. You racking up the deals right now. Everyone can get to that level if they work at it and want it. I find on a daily basis that I can learn any skill I need to grow in the business world. It just depends on how bad I want it.

My business with partners failed because they caused me not to want it. When I work bby myself, I want it much more. It is my butt on the line if I don't come through.

Really though, we are still "small time", but we have clients on our side that *love* us, decent sales (except during those "hard times") and we are working to grow just as I am sure many others out there are.

I find it interesting as well, come across a web master forum like this for this specific industry, compared to many others out there - why are we so civil when we talk and help and chat, is everyone else just crazy?

Makes you wonder, doesn't it? It's one of the reasons I like HD.

I’d go as far as saying that potentially a lot of us here are here for that reason, I think HD hasn’t turned into a WHT and the community is as such better off for it, considering many of our companies are here from different backgrounds and different stages of their development and yet information is shared openly and fruitfully
