That you're not responding to OP, the website developer, but rather, OP, the straight-up scam artist that's been at it for fifteen years. The guy's scammed at least four people in the last month alone, to judge by the comments section of the http://williamfranklinfraud.blogspot.com site.

His purpose here has not been to ask a legitimate questions or make legitimate posts, but rather, to attempt to guarantee that "benign" things come up when people search for "LA Design & Coding". (The hostingdiscussion.com results were coming up "Page 1", but have recently shifted back down to Page 2 as linked above.)

My purpose is to make sure this guy can't whitewash his own history. Anyone who arrives here looking for some history on William Franklin is encouraged to sever their involvement with him immediately, and if money is involved, to immediately file a report with your local law enforcement and the FBI's Internet Crime Complaint Center.

You know what I don't even know this person. Thank you for letting me know that I should stay away from here.

This forum has nothing to do with it. It is merely the avenue via which this person has chosen to attempt to whitewash a bad history.

He's tried in the past to do business under other names, but it seems that all the payment methods that would allow him that luxury have been denied him. So, now he's dependent on Western Union, which requires the use of a real name with valid ID.

There is always two sides of the story. It is too easy to sign up on a forum and post a story like that if your intention is to disrupt someone's reputation.

defrauded1, so am I understanding you correctly - you have had no personal experience working with the company?

Oh, I've had experience alright. But no, don't just listen to me. I've already linked the one blog. Here's his file on Rip Off Report: http://www.ripoffreport.com/Search/w...-franklin.aspx

One of those listed isn't "the" William Franklin we're talking about. The rest of them very much are.

I don't care if anyone believes me or not. Just by giving people the chance to make their own judgments, I figure I'm doing my bit for King & Country, as they say.

Edit: Or, how about all of these?

You have to put yourself in there shoes and solve there problem or issue. Offer compensation. And most importantly to prevent this from happening always be at your best and offer quality services.

I'm curious where the OP is right now since he hasn't replied to anyone in this thread.

According to me, the solution would be to resolve the issue with the client amicably.
But, some clients never agree to have mutually agreeable solution. Then you can't do much other than stating your side of the story. If you are a very big host, you may try spending some money as suggested by handsonhosting.

If it is a rightful complaint than you should deal with it by catering well to the customer's needs. If its a spam then you can report his post to google or any other search engine which lists his post.

I just wanted to post my two cents as I've had this problem once or twice a few years back. The fact is that you can't please everyone, but you also shouldn't mold your company to benefit someone else unless it will make the rest of your customers happy.

Just take negative stuff as constructive criticism. See if they are correct in their claims or just making things up and act on it.

Funny ! Why is this permitted on this forum?

For those who are really looking for an answer, I think that free speech is free speech. If the info is incorrect, contact the webmaster and explain the situation. This goes to say you need to document all your conversations with all your users. Make your sentence clear when you answer and leave emotion out of it.

Share your side of the story and apologize for the issues that encountered. Go out of your way to make it right for the client. They usually end up giving you another chance

You cannot do much, simply don't give your customers a chance to post such reviews.
